About Crosscourt Consulting
A PARTNERSHIP
Jeff and Tim have been partners in developing, educating and advocating for sport families and tennis players since the late 90’s. Jeff and Tim first met while Tim was playing on the ATP Tour and Jeff was coaching on the tour. Together they started the New England Academy of Tennis, where they developed thousands of elite tennis players who won state, regional and national junior titles, which earned hundreds of them tennis scholarships.
While Jeff continued to advance his coaching career, earning national recognition and awards from The USTA and USPTA, Tim started Donovan Tennis Strategies, a college placement service for tennis players. As both of their respected careers flourished, their views on player development and the needs of sport families brought them back together again to launch Crosscourt Consulting.
Crosscourt Consulting is a merger of Jeff and Tim’s careers and experiences working with athletes, elite tennis players and sport families. The vision of Crosscourt Consulting is to assist families in designing a master plan to navigate the complexities of the junior tennis development process while maximizing their ranking, rating and future opportunities.

Tim Donovan
- Competed for four years on the ATP Tour and achieved a top 300 world ranking in singles
- Competed in the U.S., French, and Australian Opens
- Number one player for four years at Brown University
- Member of the Brown University Hall of Fame
- Reached a high of #6 in the NCAA Division I National Rankings
- Two time Ivy League and Eastern Conference Player of the Year and Sportsman of the -Year
- Gold medalist in singles at the United States Olympic Festival
- Co-Founder New England Academy of Tennis
